Choose execution profiles and routing rules

Balance depth, speed, usage, routing, and visibility for every coordination run.

What the profile controls

The execution profile defines participation, time, step, token, and usage limits. A snapshot of these limits is kept with each run so results can be analyzed against the configuration that actually ran.

Choose a starting point

  • Fast: consults up to two specialists and prioritizes speed.
  • Balanced: supports up to three specialists and fits most teams.
  • Exhaustive: can consult up to five specialists and prioritizes depth over speed and usage.

A broader profile does not automatically improve quality. Use the smallest profile that covers the real scenario.

Configure routing

With Select only required specialists, the coordinator applies routing instructions. With Consult everyone, every specialist participates in every run.

Automatic selection usually fits independent specialties. Consulting everyone can be appropriate when every perspective is mandatory.

Decide on parallel work

Enable Work in parallel when contributions do not depend on each other. It reduces total duration, but not the amount of work or usage.

A sequential workflow is a better fit when one task requires the output of another.

Control visibility

You can hide coordination, show general statuses, or identify participants. Choose a level that fits the user experience and the sensitivity of internal names or roles.

Adjust with metrics

Compare duration, credits, resolution rate, and quality across several runs. Change one setting at a time so an isolated response is not mistaken for a trend.
