Create your first agent team
Configure a coordinator, add specialists, and validate the consolidated response in Studio.

Prepare at least two active agents in the same workspace: one coordinator and one specialist. You need permission to edit agents.
Define the shared outcome first. A precise goal makes it easier to choose specialists and avoid overlapping responsibilities.
Open the setup wizard
- Open Studio.
- Select Agent teams.
- Select New team.
The wizard has four steps: Team, Specialists, Execution, and Review.
Choose the coordinator
Enter a recognizable name, describe the team's objective, and select the coordinator. The coordinator should understand the final outcome and combine contributions without repetition or contradictions.
Add specialists
For every selected agent, define:
- Specialist capability: a short, distinct area of expertise.
- When to participate: a readable rule based on the user's need.
Avoid broad capabilities such as βhelps with everything.β Separate responsibilities such as commercial conditions and technical security instead.
Select an execution profile
Choose Fast, Balanced, or Exhaustive according to complexity, response time, and acceptable usage. Start with Balanced and adjust it after reviewing several test runs.
Advanced settings let the coordinator select only required specialists or consult everyone, enable parallel work, and control how much coordination detail is visible to the user.
Review and activate
Verify that the objective is unambiguous, every agent is active, specialist responsibilities are distinct, resources are correctly authorized, and the profile does not involve unnecessary participants. Then select Save and activate.
Run a test
Open Tests and runs, enter a realistic request, and start the coordination. Tests are independent and do not automatically retain previous test context.
Review the selected specialists, routing reasons, individual contributions, consolidated response, duration, credits, and final status. Refine routing instructions when unnecessary agents participate, or improve the coordinator instructions if important details are lost.
