Understand indexing statuses

Pending: the file is waiting to be processed.
Indexing: Inceptiva is extracting and preparing its content.
Indexed: the document is ready for use.
Error: processing could not be completed.

Available statuses

Confirm that the format is supported, the file opens correctly, and it contains readable text. Remove the failed upload and upload a corrected copy.

Do not test responses until all required sources are indexed. Otherwise, you may incorrectly attribute incomplete knowledge to the agent.
