Test a tool before authorizing it

Run a manual test

Open the tool, go to Executions, and select Test tool. The test uses saved configuration and creates a manual execution.

For HTTP and webhooks, Studio shows the received status code. For email, confirm that the server accepted the message. For calendars, validation checks connection and selected settings.

Interpret the result

Success means Inceptiva completed the call, not necessarily that the business result is correct. Verify the expected resource, response structure, and side effects.

Continue with a conversational test

Authorize the tool for an agent and use Test agent with real and edge cases. Confirm that the agent invokes it at the right time, collects all data, and explains the result clearly.
