Use voice in the Web Widget

Enable voice on the agent

Web Widget uses agent voice settings. No script change is required: after enabling and saving, controls appear automatically.

Record a query

The user holds the microphone, speaks, and releases it. The widget transcribes the audio and sends the text as a message. The page requires HTTPS and browser microphone access.

Play a response

Each response provides a listening control. Audio is prepared on demand unless automatic playback is enabled. Browsers may block autoplay until user interaction.

Check the integration

Test desktop and mobile permissions, press-and-hold recording, cancellation, playback, and closing the widget.
