Publish an agent in Microsoft Teams

Obtain the tenant ID

You need the Microsoft 365 Tenant ID, available to administrators under Microsoft Entra ID > Overview > Tenant ID.

Prepare the channel

1. Open Agent > Channels > Microsoft Teams.
2. Configure name, welcome message, and optional avatar.
3. Enter the Tenant ID.
4. Save the channel.

Inceptiva uses a multi-tenant bot. An Microsoft 365 administrator must still distribute the app through the internal Teams catalog.

Validate installation

With an authorized user, confirm the app appears, start a conversation, and verify the correct agent responds.

When changing tenants, coordinate removal of the previous app before saving the new association.
