Understand system roles

Available roles

• Owner: full control, including billing, plan, and protected organization actions.
• Administrator: manages organization, team, workspaces, and day-to-day operation without Owner-only actions.
• Developer: creates and manages knowledge, tools, integrations, and channels.
• Editor: maintains agents, knowledge, and channels within granted access.
• Reader: views available resources and metrics without changing them.

Compare effective permissions

Open Team > Roles and permissions, select a role, and review allowed and denied actions. Workspace access still limits visible resources.

System roles cannot be edited or deleted. Use a custom role when their permission set does not match your organization.
