Test and debug an agent in Studio

Use the test chat

Open the agent and remain in Studio. The right panel lets you talk to the current configuration and knowledge. Select New chat to clear the temporary session.

Build a minimum test set

Test at least:

1. A frequent question with a known answer.
2. A reworded version of the same question.
3. An ambiguous question.
4. An out-of-scope request.
5. An attempt to ignore the instructions.
6. A question whose answer is not documented.

Record the question, expected response, and outcome. If a test fails, determine whether to change instructions, knowledge, tools, or the model; do not change everything at once.

Studio tests do not create saved conversations. Validate the final channel before publishing broadly.
