Account, organization, and workspace

Your account represents your personal identity. The organization groups users, the plan, and administrative settings. Workspaces separate agents, knowledge, and resources within that organization.

You may belong to more than one organization or workspace, depending on your invitations and permissions.

Check the active workspace

Studio shows the active workspace at the bottom of the navigation. Before creating or editing content, confirm that you are working in the correct space.

Changing workspace changes the agents, knowledge bases, and tools you can see. It does not move resources between spaces.

Review your permissions

Available actions depend on your role. For example, someone may be allowed to view agents but not create or modify them.

If a button described in this documentation is missing:

1. Check the active workspace.
2. Confirm that your account belongs to the correct organization.
3. Ask an administrator to verify your role and permissions.

Centralized administration

Personal information, access, and certain organization details are managed in Account. Studio links to this service when you need to change information affecting your identity or the organization as a whole.

Prepare your first use case

Before creating the agent, define in one sentence:

• Who will talk to it.
• What problem it must solve.
• What information it needs.
• What it should do when it cannot answer.

Example: “An agent that helps the sales team consult verified product information and routes quote requests.”
