Regenerate the publication token

When to regenerate it

Rotate the token after unintended exposure, when retiring an integration, or when security policy requires renewal.

Plan the change

Rotation immediately invalidates installed code. Identify every site and environment using the widget and prepare access to update them.

Regenerate and replace

1. Open Installation and security.
2. Select Regenerate token and confirm.
3. Copy the new integration code.
4. Replace it on every site.
5. Publish and test a conversation.

If simultaneous updates are impossible, temporarily disable the channel and communicate the interruption.

Never include the token in tickets, public screenshots, analytics, or repositories.
