Troubleshoot the Web Widget

The button does not appear

Confirm the channel is active, the script appears once, and Studio-generated attributes are unchanged. Review network and console errors. If CSP is enabled, allow the generated CDN origin and chat endpoints.

It appears but does not respond

Test the message in Test agent. If that fails, review status, instructions, knowledge, and tools. If only web fails, check token, network, and browser errors.

Recent changes are missing

Save in Studio, reload without cache, and confirm the script's agent identifier matches the edited agent.

The token stopped working

If regenerated, replace the code on every page. Do not reconstruct the old snippet manually. For support, provide URL, browser, date, agent, and reproducible error while always hiding the token.
